Detailed LH Thread Summary
JULY OOC, JUNE IC
Jason dies of a bullet wound to the neck shortly after losing his fight to Batman. He meets Milton Dammers, who fills him in on what to expect while escorting him to Hell. At the Welcome Center, he deals with the trauma of dying by picking fights and trying to bypass the line to leave the Center. Nic Brown tries to calm him down, but fails. He ends up in a brief fistfight with Boss.
At the Hive, he meets his roommate, another newbie named Locus. The two share a bit of conversation before Jason goes outside to scout out the city. He meets Felix, a Brimstone employee who offers him information in exchange for the promise of a future favor. While in the park, he has a conversation with Anthony J. Crowley about the nature of sin.
Jason attempts to get a feel for the criminal underworld, and in doing so, goes to F. Scott Fitzgerald's party. He attempts to speak to Fitzgerald himself, but doesn't get far. While he's there, he speaks with Takasuki Shinsuke and plays cards with Sakata Gintoki. He drinks something that makes him hallucinate people from home, and speaks to a drunk Crowley.
When lurking on the network, he comes across a post made by Harley Quinn. After briefly interrogating her, he leaves her with a warning.
Jason is assigned to be a UBS Operative for his first bout of community service. While working, he meets Nic Brown again, and meets Kenzi Malikov for the first time. Both encounters start off rocky and end on a high note. He meets Doc Scratch when returning books to the library, who chides him for being too noisy.
Bill Cipher posts riddles to the network, which Jason solves. The two of them share antagonistic jibes in different ciphers.
FLAMR is launched. Jason fields messages from Boss, Kenzi, and Chase Collins.
AUGUST OOC, LATE JUNE-EARLY JULY IC
At some point in the month, Jason meets with Varia to scout them out. He ends up buying illegal painkillers from them, and they direct him to a place that will smuggle him his guns from home.
Hatsuharu Sohma makes a post on the network wondering why people hate angels so much. Jason chimes in, with a response that implies people sentenced to Hell are garbage. Lloyd Henreid, Homer Jackson, and Sherlock Holmes all chime in. Arguments are had, and Jason develops a disdain for all of them. A bit later, Jason and Kenzi have a private conversation through text.
Later, Bill Cipher invades people's dreams. Jason is one of those people. The resulting confusion, violation, and fatigue leave Jason much more willing to continue to pick fights on the network, such as on Feferi Peixes's post. He's also frequenting bars more often, where he meets Chase in person. He bitterly shares a few facts about Batman.
He's assigned kitchen duty for community service, and finds out he's not very good at it. After being burned by hot oil, Hatsuharu comes to his aid. He also meets Harley Quinn in person, leading to a tense conversation where he learns some more about his alternate self from her world.
Again, he makes the decision to spill a little bit more on the network. He has a conversation about family with Mikaela Hyakuya.
Brimstone Initiation Day rolls around, and Jason has been selected to be hunted by Sherlock Holmes. He holes himself up in an abandoned building near the outskirts of town, but Sherlock finds him anyway. Sherlock taunts him with personal information, then uses clever tricks to make Jason waste ammo and let down his guard. Sherlock ends up injecting him with heroin, leading to Jason's capture.
SEPTEMBER OOC, JULY IC
Jason replies to a network post made by Morticia Addams, decrying her choice in dwellings.
He meets Milly Ashford, a newbie who's looking for assistance in navigating the city. He mostly just teases her.
In a bar, he notices Dean Winchester hustling a pool table full of demons. He intervenes in an attempt to stir things up and save Dean from a nasty beating, and the two end up causing a bar fight. The violence and chaos lift his spirits a bit.
He's assigned LHPD duty as community service, where he's paired up with Lloyd. While he knows Lloyd is the person he argued with on the network last month, he keeps this knowledge from Lloyd at first. The two have a few decent conversations, but things grow tense when they apprehend a purse-snatcher. Jason's over-the-top tactics make Lloyd uncomfortable, and he tries to keep him from brutalizing criminals.
In the Hive, he meets up with Kenzi, who's doing her community service as a hall monitor. He intervenes when an irritated resident tries to intimidate her, and the two share a brief conversation about his LHPD duty. Much to Jason's dismay, Kenzi tells him not to mess with Lloyd.
OCTOBER OOC, LATE JULY-AUGUST IC
Brock Rumlow puts out a call on the network advertising his fight club. Jason shows up, eager to blow off some steam. Also on the network, Horatio Hornblower announces himself as a Blue Sky liason. Jason takes the opportunity to rib him for the organization's seemingly-biased way of operating.
While out on patrol one night, he again meets Dean, who's in the middle of attempting to break into a club/picking a fight with a passerby. He makes his presence known, then offers to take Dean somewhere else to find people who deserve to be fought. When Dean reluctantly agrees, he leads him to an area outside of the Drag to watch out for lawbreakers.
He meets Natasha Romanoff, and the two share some conversation that leads them to go out for drinks together. Natasha pays.
Heaven unleashes doves on the general populace, and one of them sticks him to a child named Oboro. The other soulbonds him to Dean. The resulting physical and emotional distress takes its toll on Jason, and again, he interacts with people on the network more often than in person. He taunts Jim Moriarty, reminiscizes with Poe Dameron about technology, and eventually, through a conversation with Kenzi, learns that she's dating Lloyd. He isn't very happy.
